Emmanuel Adomah Boateng (2000) is a versatile musician from Amsterdam-Zuidoost who quickly began standing out under the name ‘stay away from dante!’ (Dante to those close to him) through his unique compositions and dreamy sound. Effortlessly drifting between rap and singing, his music evokes feelings of love, youthfulness, and compassion with a rare sense of intimacy.
Inspired by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, Tyler, The Creator, and Kanye West, as well as bands like The Beach Boys and The Strokes, Dante started producing music at a young age while teaching himself piano and guitar along the way. In 2022, he stepped into the public eye for the first time with the releases of “In Je Eyes” and “AMETHYST RING,” shortly followed by a collaboration with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, for which he created his first classical composition.
From there, the world around Dante began unfolding rapidly. In 2023, alongside the promising singles “excuses” and “RED ME NIET!”, he released the double single “WELKOM BIJ DE VOORSTELLING” together with Nelcon and Brunzyn. The year would eventually be crowned with his selection as an “Artist to Watch” by Complex NL.
With his debut EP Duizend Volle Manen, Dante reveals an artistry that stretches far beyond music. The project unfolds as an immersive world where storytelling and carefully chosen visuals blur the line between emotion and imagination, pulling the listener beyond the boundaries of everyday life. It is a universe where feeling and fantasy move together naturally, and where Dante continues to shape his own language as an artist.
That ability to build entire worlds around his music has not gone unnoticed. In 2025, Dante joined the nationwide Popronde as a 3voor12 talent, bringing his versatility and creative vision to stages across the Netherlands. The momentum continued with a performance at Noorderslag and a sold-out headline show at Paradiso in the spring of 2026.
